Mugen Door Visors

The first thing I got for my Fit were door visors.  Mugen door visors.  I liked their look over the JDM  OEM version and they were a little less costly. But these Mugen visors were still pricey.

I installed them on 7-May-11.  Took my time of course and the install was perfect. At first, I wasn’t sure I liked them as I had gotten used to the stock look.

I’m quite happy with them now.

23-Jun-11 Update:

Love the visors! Very handy in venting the car without it looking like I’ve left any windows open. And they look good...

These Mugen visors cost me $196. CDN not including tax.  Although I’m sure the Mugen brand and logo on them has an impact on the high price, I have to stress that the fit and finish of these visors are excellent.  Fitting is accurate to the millimeter, all edges of the visors are clean and finished (bevelled where appropriate).  Absolutely first rate and I would not hesitate to buy them again.

I installed some OEM Nissan door visors on a 2009 Versa hatch recently. They cost $95. (set) and the fit and finish was only poor to fair. The front windows were ok but the rear windows were poor.  Edges of the actual visors were simple cuts and were not bevelled or finished in any way.  At best they’re ok and they’ll do the job but I found them subpar quality to even Nissan finishing.
