GTA Car Kit

I found this iPod, iPhone integration kit while browsing the web.  I got tired of using the AUX connection of my stereo and wanted line level connection and the ability to recharge my iPod/iPhone.  Although I could solve this issue with an after-market stereo, I was otherwise happy with the factory stereo and wanted to retain the stock appearance.  I initially found a unit for the Fit from GROM Audio, but chose GTA. I chose the GTA kit because of value. It was lower in price as other units yet included all necessary cables and GTA has car specific installation videos posted on YouTube. Very useful.

It only cost about $100. and the install was straightforward.  Total time start to finish - taking my time, testing & securing the unit took about 1.5 hours. The most time-consuming part was the removal of the head unit just so that the wiring harness could be plugged into the back.

Use of the unit is easy and selected via the AUX on the stereo.  I can now select between factory AUX, GTA AUX and an iPod interface.  Tracks can be selected via the head unit.
