Bought some insurance for the road today.
Been maintaining the battery over the winter/spring and just installed it today during the first intermission of game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals. After the game, (Canucks won!) I prepped it for a drive. As expected she started right up with the twist of the key. Love it. Went for a drive to Surrey to pick up Bella as I knew she’d get a kick out of it.
It took a little time to get used to the 2 again. It’s so low compared to the GD3. Steering, especially low speed is heavy... and the suspension is very stiff. But after some kilometres, it all came back. It literally rides like a go-kart, suspension and all. I loved the drive. Good torque and the intake sound... so deep and throaty, it sounds like I’ve got an aftermarket exhaust.
