Out of Hibernation!
Finally, my garage is ready for the 2. She’s coming home.
My MR2 has been in storage for two years! My daughter was as excited as I was to ride in the car again. She came along with me to pick it up.
After dusting off the cobwebs & spiders that managed to sneak under the car cover, I plugged the battery in, turned the ignition over and it started immediately. I love Toyotas. First stop, the AirCare station in Richmond about 15 klicks away. Not the closest but I wanted to hit a bit of highway to open her up a little.
Five minute wait... and I was a little apprehensive about the emission
readings. The 2 was in storage for two years and it’s only been running for the last 20 minutes. But, I had nothing to worry about and passed AirCare with better readings than my last AirCare three years ago.
