1992 Toyota MR2

My MR2 is a 1992 naturally aspirated “Base" model. 5 speed manual of course.  Canadian MR2s were not offered with automatic transmissions.

All Canadian MR2's had T-tops and fog lights (doubled as daytime running lights). The fog lights are quite nicely integrated into the MKII body style. If I had a choice like they did in the US, I would have ordered a solid top, no sunroof or T-tops.  It would have made for a stiffer chassis.

The base model meant no factory options whatsoever.  The only factory option for the NA MR2 was for the "Sport Group" package (ABS, aluminum alloy wheels, power windows, power locks, door courtesy lights with illuminated entry system and a rear spoiler).  I passed on this... But I did get the dealer installed option of Air Conditioning.

The Second Generation (Mk2) MR2 was sold in Canada for only the '91, '92 and '93 model years. US sales ceased in 1995, while continuing in other markets until 1999.
