Replaced Filter Element
I finally installed my new HKS SMF (Super Mega Flow) Mini (150mm) replacement air filter today. It is a two layer, “wet” foam filter. I bought it off eBay for $23.49 shipped (US). I actually received it in Blaine more than three weeks ago...
It’s a nice & bright yellow now. HKS “wet” is a generous term. It is not anywhere near as wet as say, a K&N filter.
Due to the angle of the picture, it appears that the filter is touching the frame. It is close but it does not touch. It was confirmed with the engine running.
