The house where I grew up...

The family home.

I believe my parents bought this house in 1975. It was a stuccod Vancouver Bungalo built in 1948. They seriously considered selling it in the early 80‘s and possibly moving to Surrey. Fortunately, that did not pan out. The house was renovated instead. It was extended out the back and a new kitchen and master bedroom with ensuite was added.

I grew up in this home and only moved out in 1994, shortly after getting married. Plenty of family and friends have lived here.. usually in the basement.

The house holds plenty of memories.

A new chapter began in January 2014 when my mother decided to move out and into an apartment. I then began the process of clearing the entire main floor to prepare to renovate and refresh the house.

My kids and I moved back in September 2014.
